Looks like Scott County is finally testing on SARA. All morning they have had Sheriff-1 patched into talkgroup 1223 (assuming this is temporary). The unit ID changes though between users so it isn't a straight patch. The new SARA tower is WRNC912 currently reporting NAC of 52h and site ID of 20. Control is currently 770.58125

I have been streaming Scott County Sheriff/Fire/EMS since 2017 from site 1410 in Walcott (EDACS). I've been wondering when this going to happen since my scanner is not P25 capable. Trying to decide whether to invest the money in something like a Home Patrol 2 or get a SDR solution working. As of now I see no mention of Scott County here

Going to be awhile yet, nothing is firm up.

48231 & 58231 appear to be Moline.... EMS call was dispatched on 48231 (Medic 5) and then given to an officer i believe on 58231

EDIT: 48231 appears to be Medic as they have dispatched Moline.... Davenport and Clinton Medic Units

Site 52 mentions "Rural Scott County Simulcast." Not sure of your location, but I would not invest in a Home Patrol 2 to monitor this system as they do not do well with simulcast (I have direct experience with this). If you will be monitoring from an area covered by a multicast site (single tower site), then the HP2 would be acceptable assuming your antenna situation is adequate.

Moline would actually be QCOMM
Medic would not dispatch in Moline unless mutual aid otherwise those are Moline FD Ambulances. Genesis Ambulance covers the Illinois side with their own Dispatch. They also do units in DeWitt, Aledo & Hillsdale. Medic has units in Clinton.

What I have seen and hear today:

48231 MEDCOM
48222 Scott Co FireMain Ops
38205 QCOM 2
38238 Bettendorf PD 1
38225 Rock Island PD 1
38204 QCOM 1
58213 Rock Island County Sheriff
1223 Scott Co Sheriff Ops 1
38201 Davenport PD 1

all are linked to their RACOM talkgroups, except for RICO 159.150 rptr.

After doing a little reading on forums I agree with you. I'm on the western edge of Scott county so it's *probably* ok, but I'm looking at the BlueTail P25RX. It's out of stock for who knows how long but it looks like a good solution.

I agree would be QCOMM however they clearly gave out an address in Moline then gave the same address on 58231 to an Officer... Maybe it was to an RISO Unit ... not sure exactly I will attempt to find recording also 2 RID's just issued EMERGENCY CALL 8271013 8208224 seems late for testing
