What is the Best P25 wait time

I would leave the wait time to the default setting. I would use ID Scan unless you don’t know the ID and wish to learn it. If it’s scan speed you would like to improve, timing it both ways to compare, the difference between zero wait time and 200 isn’t a noticeable difference really, is it?

Is that the same as the ID.

There's really no reason to adjust P25 waiting time unless you have a frequency with mixed analog/digital P25 emissions

Set it too short, and you will hear data at the beginning of digital signals. Set it too long, and you will miss the beginning of analog signals.

400 is a good compromise.

How do you know if there are mixed

I have the correct frequency for metro 911 but I don't receive nothing. And I have the Primary and secondary frequencies
