1525- Couple of Italian AF KC-46s in our area. IAM 1442 (MM62226) departed ADW heading West. IAM 1433 (MM62228) crossing over northern NJ heading West. At 1533 IAM 1433 now turning and maybe heading to ADW?

1533- Another Italian AF flt IAM 4684 (C-130 MM 62177) just showed on ADS-B just hitting northern NJ. Must be spaghetti & meatballs night at the ADW chow hall. ;)

Anyone hear an MQ-1 Predator heading to Griffiss (KRME) today? Someone told me one landed there today but that’s all I know, I tried looking for it around the airport but it may be inside a hangar. I don’t know how credible the source is so maybe just a mistake but just thought I’d ask.

Are they even still flying anymore?
Turns out that it was an MQ-9 from the 174th Attack Wing. It’s the first time a 174th ATKW MQ-9 landed somewhere other than Syracuse according to the news article.
174th ATKW MQ-9 lands at Griffiss

Potus CAP up with SLAM 1,2 and tanker WINK-10. Boom is usual 247.050.
SLAM-1 female pilot going to the boom.
With the wx forecast for this weekend CAP pilots won't see much of the ground.

1825 local See 6 T-38's going from Eppley Field Omaha KOMA to Dane County/Truax Field KMSN Wisconsin..
Three EURO T-38's are already into Truax with 4 more inbound.. T-38 party this weekend :)

SLAM-1,2 A/A on 259.900 so must be 104th FW F-15C's ..
BTW Truax Field Wisconsin 115th FW starts receiving their own F-35's next year.

Side note I haven't seen any KC-46A's flying much let alone deliveries from Seattle in a while.
They all grounded? At this rate will be 20 years to replace the KC-135's.
Need the A-330 Lockheed tanker as well :)

IAM4679 C130J MM62177/46-42 departed 1404z

All cleared LPLA to KADW

Very curious -- icao=33fff3 showing up twice...first as the Mode S of the earlier arriving C-130 into KADW (IAM4684, landed at ~2038Z)

...and now again as IAM4679 approaching KADW from the east. Both were from Lajes, took different routes.

And both seemingly MM62177/46-42.

Earlier one 46-50 and this second one 46-52.? Any ideas?

Thanks from an old 130 guy!

KC-46's are certainly not grounded.

Here's STEAM 78 flying loose formation with an Italian Air Force KC-767A over Arizona right now.

Let me clarify that statement.. I didn't mean all KC-46A's.Just the Seattle area new delivery testbeds.
STEAM-78 a McGuire tail.. Road trip :)
2000 local STEAM-78 off San Clemente westbound assume Hawaii trip.

I'd really love to hear any thoughts -- I don't monitor the radios or use other sites besides this tracker.
Rgr noticed that same pattern on Live Mil mode s ADSB site also..
Latest shows inbound ADW's. Not sure here. Almost like intentional spoof track.
Same tail but two different tracks..

Flightaware has the partial Lajes track which makes more sense. Almost seems they were keeping Bermuda as possible divert.
Strange flight path.

Found them on the archives. Callsign was MAMBA 01. First time I've heard the 174th use that callsign. There was also 4 other MQ-9s up at the same time, another first for me, 5 in the air at once.

These are the standard MQ-9 TAC frequencies I'm aware of - 250.475 (SAR excercises), 259.500, 271.100, 267.800.

Anyone hear of any others in use recently ?
