The last 2-3 weeks this feed goes down completely and or skips >50% of the traffic. I’ve listened to the PD radio side by side with the Broadcastify channel to verify this. Who is the provider of this feed and how to we get this fixed?
Hi and thanks for joining! The best way to notify a feed owner is to report a problem through the Broadcastify interface. This sends an email to the feed provider with the notes you provide them. Sometimes, there's also a Contact Broadcaster button depending on if the volunteer hosting the feed has enabled that option. There could be any number of issues that is causing this - sometimes they are aware, sometimes they are not.
I didn't realize you were talking about Calls, sorry - some nodes will list who runs it if you go to the main Coverage page at the top and find the node that is sending that TGID. I noticed some show an owner and some don't but don't know how that is determined.
Also, keep in mind on the Calls Platform, unlike on Broadcastify, all talkgroups are sent to RR however calls are filtered out depending on type of traffic, such as TAC channels, so if you are hearing these channels on the PD radio, or if the radio is actually a PD radio and not scanner they could be encrypted TGs, you will not hear it on the calls platform.
