On the FAA site this track is AR220

But on the ads-b exchange map it's AR-217-219-220

What frequencies should I listen to when I see aircraft on the Track ?
thanks for any help provided.
Steve

You might want to have the Admin move your question to the "Military" forum rather than the marine forum. However, I can address your question according to this site: Military Air Refueling (AR) Tracks, Frequencies, Maps AR220's primary frequency is 274.4500 AM and it's secondary or back up is 282.7000 AM. Don't forget that there are "boom" frequencies that the Boom operator uses to communicate with the individual aircraft he is refueling. That freq is dependent on the unit doing the job. I hope this helps.

I did not see that I put this in the Marine forum, very sorry about that and thank you for the information, if the Admin can move this it would be appreciated, again sorry for the miss post.

Please see below thread on the Military Monitoring Forum:
DoD AP-1/B Air Refueling & Training Routes

You will see the DROPBOX link with multiple references AP-1/B that shows all CONUS Training Routes and in the mid-later sections show the most current AR Tracks and the individual / specific AR Track Details and Radio Freq's..etc..

I made the AR tracks on ADSB Exchange. You would need to determine which flight level the particular aircraft is at.

AR-217 283.900 Primary 282.700 Secondary and Flight level of 16,000-22,000
AR-219 305.500 Primary 282.700 Secondary and Flight level of 26,000-29,000
AR-220 274.450 Primary 282.700 Secondary and Flight level of 19,000-22,000

AR-217 and AR-220 are very similar in flight levels but 219 should be easy to see if that's what they are flying. Notice they all share secondary frequency.

Added refueling tracks to ADSB Exchange map, for those that use it.
  • AR-900 (NW & SW), AR-901, AR-902, AR-903, AR-904 all around Hawaii
  • AR-801, AR-802, AR-803, AR-804, AR-805, AR-808 all around GUAM
  • Also added the AR-777 and the box the FAA adds with it.
If any refueling tracks need corrected, questioned, or you have any concerns please reply or shoot me a message.

Thanks for adding these. AR-609 and AR-631 seem to have dropped off the map since these updates, any chance they can be added back?

I decided to delete the Anchor point areas for the reason of not much activity seen on ADSB exchange with them and crowd up the AR map. But, I am open for some discussion on it.

AR-632 is not a track I monitor. If you mean AR-631 then this track is active most days during the week. It is regularly used by C-17's, C-5's, KC-135's and KC-46's from the 157ARW at Pease.

AR-632B is still active.
12-07-21
HAPPY 56 (KC-135 59-1522)
238.900 AR-632B, BUCKI 61 x 4 (TOL F-16's) 01:45pm. BUZZ 51 x 2 (TOL F-16's) 01:55pm.

10-28-21
UPSET 41 (WI KC-135)
238.900 AR-632B, WIDOW 21 x 2 (MI A-10's) 08:46pm to 09:14pm.
Check your settings for that freq. Possibly changed something by mistake.

The STEELHEAD MOA AR-Freq has been pretty active lately. 338.800
I've also noticed that Pittsburgh KC-135's have been handling AR work in WI lately. The WI tankers must be overseas, because I haven't seen or heard an UPSET in a few months.

Not trying to bring up too old of a thread, but AR-609 is currently active now, and was quite active most of the day on 10/3 as well.

AR-609 in an anchor area, which I deleted off the AR map because it was very busy with them on there. If anyone would like anchor points on there and is active please comment below, maybe I can get them on there.
