Just an update while I am here in Naples and Marco island. Unfortunately my Unication G5 isn’t picking up anything on the Collier P25 system. Either I made a programming error or there’s a firmware issue relating to phase 1 versus phase 2 systems because it works like a dream on Motorola phase 1 P25 in Massachusetts.
Sooooo, I brought my SDS100 with me as a backup. It was initially performing well on the system but then went dead due to what I believe are SD card issues. POS radio if you ask me.
I didn’t bring my PC, so I am SOL it seems. Very disappointed. Was looking forward to monitoring the system and reporting back.

So I got my SDS100 working by taking the battery out which seemed to reset the SD card. Performed very well in Naples and Marco island. Not a peep on the MERT TG though which was surprising.
As for why my Unication isn’t working, I am baffled. I will have to check my programming, but I know I entered all the frequencies for the Naples simulcast.

Yes, each channel is provisioned as P25 and both slots.
That said majority of traffic is TDMA.
Phase 1 generally CAT buses and Naples City PD and Ops50 Marco and lastly
the CP. I suspect CP is FDMA for interoperability purposes.

@ACKStatic Make sure you put in the site number as hex not decimal. The picture I posted is correct. The value of 10 is decimal not Hex. 10 will not work. I made that mistake when I first programmed the G5.
Thanks so much all. I have made the changes and will take it on a test run next time I am down. I would like to do a side to side comparison of the G5 and SDS100. I have to say the SDS100 performed really well in Marco and Naples (when it was working). My experience is that the G5 can only be better. Thanks again.
I'm in Polk County. Over 30 mints ago I was getting 2 bars on 855.4375. It came up site 89 nac 00a Possible School site??
