Castro Valley CHP (143) has merged with Hayward (25)

They won't physically be in the same building until this fall, but all beats are under the Hayward (25) call sign. Beat numbers remain the same. So instead of 143-580, it is now 25-580, etc. This is how it was prior to Castro Valley office opening some 10 years ago. A update was submitted to the DB.

Have you heard why Castro Valley is closing?

Per CHP Hayward on Twitter: "Combining the two offices will allow us to improve communication between jurisdictions, increase the number of officers able to respond to calls for service, and nourish community outreach across a wider range."
