Question for all. I recently started to monitor L-Band ACARS for military aircraft. This morning there was an aircraft that has a US Military hex code and a very unusual Reg number has anyone have info on it or has seen this before? AE54C1 and reg show as 11111T.

I started seeing those type of messages back in 2020. I've seen the same AE54C1 hexcode also used with reg 91431T and 65735T. Note the agency sending the messages is LMSLAMC. LMSLBMC has also been observed. Speculation at the time from someone on another forum a lot smarter than me thinks they might be Lockheed Martin SATCOM test terminals (A and B) running tests from Dobbins AFB (home of Lockheed Martin).

I don't have my SATCOM up and running right now. Are you able to decode the CPDLC messages (using dumpvdl2) ? Here's one I caught back in 2020.

Is there a different forum or thread I can look at to find out how to see these kinds of things?

Thanks
