Reccomend a Scanner?

Hey guys I have no idea about scanners. But I want one that i can use in my house or take in my car. Like i said im scannerimpared so i just need something basic. Just woundering what you guys would reccomend. Also woundering if anyone know some frequencys for Red Deer, Alberta RCMP Frequencies.

Well, since you have found this thread, look around it and you will find all the information you require. No point in really starting a new thread when it is covered already on this Forum. Since you are here, click on Database at top of screen and select Canada from "select other country", and click on the map of Alberta. All the information is posted there.
