During coms press F2. Then press F3 under Analyz. Then press Down through the frequencies. If you are within range of a tower(s), you will see alternating data on bottom line when on a control. How do you get the decode rate?
Is anyone having luck with this. I have a GRE 500 can scan conventionnally but? Could have swore something was written yesterday about this but post sems to have been moved to AREA 51 ????????

My PSR600C is trunking the control channels ! It is following the talk groups as the channels change just like it should . The decode rate is 99% It is in P25 mode not conventional mode. My PRO96 has a decode rate of 40% max and will not trunk the system so I have it in conventional mode. I do not have a PSR500 so I can't give you any info on that . SaskPower talk groups and more RCMP talk groups will be posted as they come up on my radio. This is great news !I am confused. This system has always been scannable in conventional mode? Still can ot trunk track tho correct?

Hi guys,
Given what VE5WIL has specified above, what do you think that the tower numbers are actually intended to be "half" of what they are? i.e. the site he submits above is site 181, the site at Dunmore (in the RRDB) is site 52, etc?
Page # 2 of this pdf newsletter states 200 sites and 6000 radios in the system. www.planetworks.ca/Newsletters/2006-07.pdf
What system are you monitoring? Your profile does not show your location and you didn't specify where you are in the post!
Glad to hear you're happy with your GRE product. That's what you get for purchasing a real scanner over the buggy Unidens...
I'm gonna rename/renumber the sites based on their "single" IDs, i.e. 181181 is going to become 181. Everything we've gathered points toward this being true.
The sysid 00A and WACN 00000 is really weird. Someone care to check on that?
You guys really need to get a Unitrunker setup running on these systems.
