Community Police Radio Network (CPRN) Assoc. Edmonton

Hey,

I was searching for something on Canada Revenue Agency "Charity Lookup" and I came across an Alberta Charity "COMMUNITY POLICE RADIO NETWORK (CPRN) ASSOCIATION" (REGISTERED Charity's Return - Quick View)

It was incorporated in 1992 in Edmonton, however I can not find a website to see what they do, or more information about the group ( Like how they integrate with Edmonton Police Service.)

Does anyone have any more information about this group?

CPRN in Edmonton

The Community Police Radio Network has been active in Edmonton long before it's incorporation. Mudary on this forum keeps us up to date from time to time of what (CPRN) is up to. It is one of Edmonton's longest running observe and report Community Patrols.

This group now operates a ham repeater in Edmonton. It's 145.310 (100.0) VA6 CRN, I receive a strong signal but there is quite the background hiss.

Is this for their Surveillance ops or are they still on a trunked system?
