This is for the group, especially those in the Kimberley area.

I heard a fire dept page out for Kimberley today, and the person answering the page took the information and said they would page out for the call. The page never came over the radio.

I take it that the members don't all get the initial page out ... But wait for a page from the on duty officer.
I've entered all the radio frequencies for the area, even set the scanner on close call ...
But I cannot find their page out freq.
Is there a specific part of the spectrum I should be scanning, or are there any members in the are who know how this system works?

NOTE: I even tried the Toneout feature on my 436HP ... But got nothing.

Check Industry Canada and see if there has been a new frequency(ies) assigned.

FTO only works if you already know the frequency the pages go out on

I was using their main freq, since th department receives callouts from Kelowna dispatch on that frequency.
Causing me to think there has got to be another freq.
Do you have a link for industry Canada frequency pages?

Have you tried 153.830, 154.010, 154.740, 155.400, 156.720 and 160.140? and make sure that if you were using a PL tone on the frequency you were listening to that you check the frequency for multiple PL tones.

They may also be using SMS or even something like WhatsApp or even some fire service specific applications

I have taken a look at the ISED (Industry Science & Economic Development, née Industry Canada) data for the City of Kimberley and this is what comes up:

154.01 - Public Works in analog FM
153.83 - Fire Dispatch in DMR on top of North Star Mountain
160.14 - Fire Dispatch in DMR (second repeater?) in Marysville
154.74 - Fire Pagers in analog FM

Only the two middle ones are in the RRDB, and their descriptions and modes are not quite on target.

Thanks for looking that up Jay ....
Confirms what Harry posted above.
I'll keep monitoring ... It's a small department, so it's not that busy.

I'm running the BCD436 HP with the DMR.
I receive radio communications just fine, just trying to find out their secondary paging system when they mention they will page out a crew.
I received a few freq to try, but the call volume is low, so it might take awhile to track it down.
