I have tried to pick up Environment Canada weather on all 7 of the frequencies listed on Wiki. I used to listen to it regularly on 162.475. But like I said, I tried all 7 of the freqs on the list 162.400 162.425 162.450 162.475
162.500 162.525 & 162.550. All with no readable signal. Anyone have the same issue!? Thanks & regards - Greg

I believe on 162.475 you were hearing the Highvale tower. This spring the tower shack was broken into and vandalized. I'm surprised they haven't put it back on the air. Perhaps a note on their webpage may motivate them to get it done.

I did a quick search for the common wx channels' licenses withing 500km of the center of the province (54.5,-115, about 35km SE of Swan Hills) and got the following map:

Google Map of Alberta Weather Channels

If you can't hear the .475 signal from Drayton Valley, maybe the Wabamun site is down.
