I recently had my Icom IC-5023H stolen from my truck which came programmed with all the channels needed in BC. Highway, logging, resource roads etc. I have a Kenwood TK--7180k with the programming software but the radio shops refuse to give me the list they use to program the radios they sell. Even the shop that sold me the Icom. I have found a few channels needed online and on industry Canada's website but it would be nice to have an exact list of all the channels they use to program the radios as different parts of BC use different channels. So if anyone can please give me an up to date list of channels for the (trucker) VHF radios, it would be much appreciated.

Thanks, Rick

Have you looked at the official Industry Canada logging frequencies list at https://www.ic.gc.ca/eic/site/smt-gst.nsf/eng/sf11098.html? That one also includes the official highway trucking channels. The resource roads are at https://www.ic.gc.ca/eic/site/smt-gst.nsf/eng/sf11127.html.

There are other non official trucking frequencies but they mostly illegally use some of the logging channels.

Also note that you require a license from Industry Canada to use those frequencies. A license for the highway trucking channels and resource roads is easy to get, the logging frequencies require permission from the logging company.

All the LD and RR channels need to be programmed for narrow band. The LAD channels are wide band as are all the old logging road channels.

The links in the post above me will have ALL the Resource Road channels in use in BC and the rest of western Canada.

The frequencies listed under 'Forest Protection Division' are for Alberta only, and are numbered lowest frequency to highest, 1 through 6.

^^ Exactly. These two appendices are the definitive list of "legal" logging, resource and highway road channels. These two appendices should also be referenced on your license with the URL's if you are allowed to use them (probably if you licensed one of the LAD channels).

Sorry for the late reply but I was away. Thanks everyone for all of the info and I hope this can can help others as well, especially with the legalities of what channels you are licensed to use. I was contacted by the Company who originally sold me the radio and helped me with licensing etc. They have since emailed me a pdf containing all the frequencies I originally had. Thanks again to everyone and 73
