Default rdf 2020t questions

Planning on buying the rdf2020t from GLOBAL TSCM GROUP, INC. - Radio DF DDF2020T.

Have a few questions.

If im using it with 868 mhz.
Do i need the 4 antennas to be for 868? And also the scanner ill be using is bcd396xt and im planning on buying a 868 antenna roof mount - will using that help or only increase my reception with 868? Thanks

The antennas should be resonant at 868MHz and you need to use the proper spacing between them. Are you wanting to use the roof mount antenna with the RDF? It has to use the supplied antenna bases and cables with a set of four resonant BNC whips that you supply.

Just took a second look at the schematic for the rdf, and now realizing how foolish my question sounded. Thanks for the reply.
