Question for the group and those have use a Troy Console for mounting there equipment. I selected a Troy Console over a Havis because Troy seemed to have a wider range of faceplates to select from with the many different radios out there.
But, now that I'm doing my install I have come across a few roadblocks that I need suggestions to resolve. I didn't want to have to cut into the console to complete the install thinking that the console would be properly setup to allow an installation to go seamlessly.
I have the mounting plate installed and realized that to run coax and control cables from the trunk mounted unit to the control head mounted in the console there doesn't seem to be any openings in the console to all the cable for the control head to pass through and also the antenna coax for the radios and scanners I am using.
Since the troy console as opposed to the Havis is a fully contained unit. Any suggestions on how those int he groups resolved these issues?
