Default Mic placement.

I have a ham and a cb. The ham mic is wired. The cb is powered with USB but is wireless. Any suggestions to use mic holder or just leave in center rest area?

Another possibility, if that is a cd slot in the pic is to get phone mount that uses the cd slot and modify it to hold the two mics

A mount like this

And a small block of wood with a pair of the following attached

CB Accessories - Microphones - Handsfree Mics : Toyo MS-5 Handsfree system for 6 pin CB's

My mod it's to have a switch by kenwood (MJ89)to use mic a/b or a+b (cause my mic have dtmf and some func) but a patch cable and a doublebarrel RJ45 can do alike

How about the right outside lower wall of the console? (Same side as the glove box, closer to the seat.) That'll get your mic cable away from the console and should keep you away from the airbags as well.
