Scanner Won't Work....

Hi, I live in Woodstock, New Brunswick, Canada. I have entered the channel information in to the Scanner and in the run of a day it may pick up two or three things...... What do you suggest I do?

Scanner Won't Work

A little more info -
1) what model scanner are you programming - that will tell us if it does trunking, or better yet digital!
2) What have you programmed in so far?
3) What would you like to listen to...fire, police, etc? This way we can recommend some good frequencies for your area.
