When I have the the Pro-106 plugged into the AC power adapter and try to plug it into my computer using a the headphone jack, I get a huge amount of feed back. Is there anyone else that has experienced this? Also what would this problem be cause by? I tried plugging this thing into a bunch of different outlets but have not replaced the power cord yet.

Try changing from a stereo plug to a mono plug. I hear some people having success doing that.

Yes. The audio coming out of the scanner is mono. The headphone jack in the computer is stereo. So you will have to have a mono to stereo adapter coming out of the scanner or a mono cable then a mono to stereo adapter then a stereo going into the headphone port.
