Pro 2053 300 channel dual trunking

Just moved to Wilkes county North Carolina they use the North Carolina VIPER system instead of a normal Trunking system can I reprogram this scanner to accommodate the VIPER system also can I reprogram the description of each frequency

This scanner won't handle digital and the VIPER is P25. You need to upgrade your scanner to be able to monitor it.

Also it's not frequencies that are tagged by user, but talkgroups. In trunking the talkgroup can be on any frequency.
