When the 9V battery goes dead the frequencies that have been set cancel out even thought the scanner is plugged in.
I have to put a new 9V battery in and re program the frequencies again.
Why is this happening and where can I get it repaired at a reasonable price in the Westchester, NY area?
If anyone is interested in purchasing this radio, let me know.
Thank you in advance for your input.

I was gonna recommend "G&G Communications", however it seems they no longer work on that model due to a possible design flaw. Here is the no repair list: G & G Communications

You might try emailing them though as it could be something simple. I wish I could be of more help.

How often is your 9V battery going dead? Mine lasts many years.
