Is there any good on-line archives for user and maintenance manuals for Radio Shack products?

Take a look at mods.dk. Not sure what you're looking for but they have a lot of manuals for Radio Shack and other manufacturers. I think you can view 1 per day and download 1 every 4 days without having to pay anything.

That's a good site. Here is another:

This is for the Pro106 BUT the Whistler WS1040 is the same so this would seem to apply to it as well. That site is slow as molasses in winter but that's the real REPAIR guide.
