Modering Metrolink Valley sub

I've been trying to monitor Metrolink on a valley sub and live a block away from CP burbank it hard to pick up traffic on 160.545 any help. Use bcd 436hp. Won't a Watson 801 atena

I live in the West Valley and have no problem hearing the Valley/Ventura Sub. Of course, on my daily Metrolink commute, monitoring my own train is no problem. Be aware that the dispatcher can switch radio sites to favor different locations where communications might be needed. Also, there may be periods of time with little or no radio traffic.

BCD396XT with a "rubber ducky" while on the go...old Radio Shack VHF 1/4-wave ground plane at 25 feet at home.
