RF Systems 7' vertical VS. the longwire

Hi, My longwire antenna is nearing the end of it's useful life and was thinking about replaceing it with the RF Systems GMDSS 7 foot vertical. Is there anyone who uses this antenna for HF and how does it perform. I have an Icom ic-r75 receiver no filter upgrades. Thanks in advance!!

IMHO I'd upgrade the longwire - and the price would be better! :wink:

Hi my uncle is using the Rf Systems GMDSS on his Icom-R75 excellent results on hf at dads place i use the Rf Systems DX-One Pro MK11 & Rf Systems DX-10 both do an excellent job across hf mainly monitor aero,utilities at my radio shack at home i use the Wellbrook active loops ALA1530,ALA1530L, ALA330S they also do an excellent job advantage is with the loops put them on a rotator and the performance gets even better these antennas are not cheap but they all do an excellent job on hf.
