r-75 antenna

i purchased an icom r-75 reciever,would like to purchase an antenna that would get the most out of this radio,any ideas?(was curious what others were using)

A basic question needs to be asked here - can you put something outdoors and away from the home? That's the best way to get the most out of a HF antenna, no matter what you decide to put up.

Lots of people use the PAR (now LnR) End Fed - it's quite popular and needs a relatively small space to put up. Our wiki has a number of links and some home built designs here...

+1 Wellbrook loop... I have their cheapest one in my attic... ALA-100M with 25' of wire on it. Great antenna.
