Default America in the Bible

I was privy to an interesting conversation the other day.
I know some people that are doing a Bible study on Revelations.
A question come up, "Where is America in the Bible?".
One of the responses was that America isn't in any end times passages in the Bible because it won't be a major player by the time Jesus returns

This is true I don't see America in the book of Revelation at all. and for being a player in the end times I think you right at that were not. But with the decisions from the current administration other powers that be have been allowed in to the middle east which has set the stage for things to come.

The Bible was written by inspiration from an omniscient God therefore everything was known from Alpha to Omega (beginning to end).

Some feel the Book of Revelations is a foretelling of the end times here on earth. That it's a telling of how the world will end. This is the viewpoint most Christians hold on to. Some interpret the different beasts talked about in Revelations as representing different present day countries.

On the other hand, there are some Bible Scholars who feel that Revelations was simply a letter to 7 ancient churches, and does not apply, like you say, to anything more recent that 2000 years ago.
