Don't forget the USCG digital frequencies. I recommend programming all of the "NET" channels on the page linked below, and see what pops up. In prior years there has been traffic on CG 124 and CG 128 (the latter announced as LE 05). I am trying to figure out which other channels are used in the Bay Area.

From the Wayback machine from the 2011 thread.

I spent the afternoon on Treasure Island in search mode. I've got a bunch of recordings to review in the 162.0125-174 and 406.1-420. But for now, here's what I found for the show:
305.90 Bert
346.50 Box (Diamond / Solos)
333,30 Diamond
237.80 Solos

134.70 Airboss
119.85 Discrete

272.10 Snowbirds
376.025 F15 Demo

Coast Guard Ships
156.700 Marine 14 / Announcements
157.050 Marine 21A
157.075 PATCOM

166.1875 / $293 CG 124 (Clear & Encrypted)
172.3125 / $293 CG128 Announced as Law Enforcement 05

Does anyone know if there are streams of these channels - maybe even all put together? I use LiveATC's app (and 5-0 Radio) but it sucks at switching between lots of streams. Thus even if I could find individual streams of each frequency listed here it would be tough to find the right channel to hear the Blue Angels talking (or even just ATC saying, "clear airspace for angels in 5 min" or something).

I googled' the heck out of my problem and was led here. Maybe there's an official stream and I just don't know about it? We're in the 21st century after all... =]

Thanks!

I'm not aware of any feeds that would be streaming the actual airshow frequencies (such as show boss, Blue Angels, ect.) but you may be able to find a feed that has the SFO and Oakland towers on it. This is where the airshow performers will likely be taking off and landing from. Also, see if you can find a feed that is streaming NorCal approach/departure frequencies for the Bay Area, as this is where the planes may be directed to upon departure from the show box.

I believe all the air show performers will depart OAK. Listen for the Blues using runway 30 on 127.2. The props will depart rwys 28 using 118.3. They will then go directly to the air show freq, skipping Norcal Approach/Departure.

Actually, some performers go to Oakland and some go to SFO. The Blues have typically been in the North ramp area by Executive Aviation.

I was listening to KOAK Ground from about 14:45 to 15:20 (just now). I can't tell which frequency from the iPhone app, I think because group/dep is mixed. Anyway I clearly heard ground organizing a departure hold to allow for VIP traffic and they talked to the angels a bit, however, I didn't hear any angels reply (these were 2 way conversations and I clearly couldn't hear the 2nd half for some reason).

FYI Showtime is billed as 3pm sharp for BA, but they actually took off at 15:14. I happen to have visual on OAK from the roof of the building I'm in so I watched it (made super easy as they take off in formation w/smoke!). They did their show until 15:24 then returned to OAK.

The Blue Angels historically used OAK, but did move to SFO in 2012 and maybe a year or two earlier. However, news reports have them back at OAK this year. If they are parked on the OAK North Ramp, I would imagine they would still taxi out to runway 30 as Alameda is a very noise sensitive area.

Blue Angels frequencies in use today:

237.800
255.200
275.350

Too far away to tell which is which, just catching snippets of traffic...

305.900 Fat Albert and 284.250 Show Box were also in use.

From your list, 237.800 was the Solos and 275.350 was the Diamond Formation.

255.200 had the most use, but i was unable to determine it's actual use. It was using during landing as well.

Blue Angels took off a few minutes ago followed by Fat Albert. KOAK frequencies. United Flight 2185 just finished up their display and is heading back to KSFO.
