Is Hayward still using 453.150, or have they completely switched over to EBRCS? I was in Hayward on Saturday and heard fire engine sirens, but nothing on 453.150. I wasn't there very long though.

They have switched over to EBRCS. See the data base for talk groups. They still do their own dispatching.

I haven't listened to that freq in some months, but when HPD switched over, they immediately dropped the UHF freq.

I don't know if that's accurate because I've heard the UHF freqs in use since PD switched. I'll try and listen.

I used to have them programmed in to my ham radio and monitored them regularly. Since the switch to EBRCS, I haven't heard them.

The equipment is still OTA but I have only heard fire once not he UHF since the switch.
