When I spoke to the fire guys at the county fair last year, they had new APX's and were in the process of getting things setup then...This will be fun to see.

Last update I saw was that site development was quite a ways out (try 2020), with the system being ready for use sometime in 2021. As their XTS radios crap out, agencies have been replacing them with dual band APX radios so that they will work on the current (T-band) and next gen (700 MHz) systems.

I have the 700 MHz frequencies in my scanner and will update the DB as soon as I hear something.

We were shipped our fire service 'dual band' (700 Mhz/155 MHz) APX portables last fall, but they will stay packed up for at least a few years. Our three BCs each got a 'tri band' APX, with UHF-T enabled, so they can use them now. The APX is an SDR unit, and each additional band's 'ransomware' costs a bundle. The latest timeframe for NextGen MERA full operation is 2023, with a possibility of 2022.
