Does anyone happen to know what frequencies Costco is using and if they are using Analog or DMR? I stopped by my local Costco and was able to look at one of their radios which is a Hytera BD302 which is UHF, but not sure if they are using it in Analog or Digital. Plus they have repeaters around the warehouse. So, looking for Input & Output if anyone happens to know them.

Was thinking if all the stores actually use the same frequencies within the region since I heard that someone from like let's say the Concord store could got to the Antioch or Danville store and still use their radio. Hoping someone might know some of these answers. I live very close to one and would love to monitor. 73

Since you don't have a location listed, where exactly is your local Costco? Try 467.850 first.

Also, Costco typicly licenses their frequencies so you can do a search by county to find them.

Well when you mentioned locations, it appeared as though you were giving an example, and not referring to the actual store you were looking for.

Again, I would try 467.850. Seems to be pretty common for them. And only ones I have ever heard were simplex. The repeaters you see might be for something else.

Thank you all so very much. I'm still in the Process of trying to verify the Antioch Store. I do know that most Costco Stores Have many Frequicies programmed into their radios but they all use the Channel 1 that is programmed in.

Once I'm able to confirm the Antioch Locaion I'll submit those as well.

i frequent the Richmond costco location quite often mostly sitting in front in the handicap stalls while others shop, I’ve tried the frequency you listed above, I did not hear anything on it though do I have to be inside the warehouse itself to hear any transmissions ?

No. You should be able to hear them in the parking lot as well. Try scanning UHF range next time you're in area see if they moved up there.

Hi, I’ve tried the frequency for the Richmond Costco and I had no success I tried it with the CTCSS time of 67.0 and I tried it in the search code mode on a GRE 800 scanner. Still no success am I doing something wrong? Could the frequency have changed since you last confirmed it? If so does anyone have any updated Richmond Costco frequency information thanks in advance

If you aren't hearing anything it probably changed.

Best thing is to search around for it the old school way and try to locate it.

I'm not a Costco customer but I found the Costco near me in Nashua NH is using Motorola DLR series 900MHz FHSS digital radios. I'm wondering if it is becoming a nationwide thing with Costco.
DLR Series - Motorola Solutions

These digital radios operate at just under 1W under Part 15 rules on the 902-928MHz and use FHSS. They work with the older DTR 410/550/650 radios and also work with the new DTR 600/700 models. They are not monitorable on any consumer grade receiver (scanner) so don't even bother trying. The only inexpensive and practical way to monitor these is with another Motorola DLR or DTR series radio, AND it has to be programmed to the same hopset and talkgroup ID. Fortunately many users of these radios simply use them right out of the box at the factory default programming, like FRS bubble packs. The Costco near me is using their radios at the factory default programming and I hear them on my older DTR650 radios on one of the default public talkgroups when I am in range.

Maybe the best thing to do is to get a look at what radios are being used to help narrow down where to search. If Costco is using Motorola DLR series 900MHz FHSS digital radios like the Costco near me is using, then you are SOL with a scanner.
