Caught a short recording of the recent EVA (spacewalk) from the International Space Station on my HamShack ProScan setup. The Cosmonauts typically use 143.625MHz FM during EVAs to communicate to each other.
ProScan saved about 1.5 minutes, mostly static. This is the best part of the recording, as the orbits are fairly fast and my antenna and receiver aren't optimized for receiving such orbit passes. This was recorded on August 22nd at 2:31 PM.

This isnt an EVA freq, but the air to ground primary. They typically use it over the US for comm checks.

Here is a link to other freqs used by the ISS including the EvA freqs where are in the VHF air band

Whether it's listed as such or not, there was an EVA in progress when I recorded that audio. If you understand Russian chime in. ;)

Rare occurrence indeed regardless.

OK well comms on that freq are actually quite common. As I said before, its used over US for comm checks.

Back in the day, especially during MIR missions, i heard it daily, but obviously that was years ago :)
