I perceive that RadioReference is primarily a "scanner enthusiast" related forum and hesitate posing AMSAT related questions. I an preparing to try to get back into amateur radio satellites and will need an occasional question answered, for sure!

To those interested in ham sats, is there a good AMSAT support forum available? I looked at Yahoo Groups, but did not see one of interest.

QRZ and eHam have satellite forums. I saw your post on eHam earlier tonight, and posted a reply there. AMSAT has the AMSAT-BB mailing list, which has many active and experienced satellite operators available to answer questions. You can join the mailing list, or view the message archives, at:

Amateur satellites are covered by this forum, but I think your questions would get wider exposure on the AMSAT-BB list and those other web forums.
