Hello, I am not very active in working Satellites. But I do like to listen to them when I can catch one on the air.
I have a few that I have had programed in my scanners and rigs for several years .
Over that period of time I have herd very little activiy.
Can any one please tell me if any of these are still active ????
AO51SA
ECH0SA--Not sure about this one.
A027A

SO50AT--These two may be the same and they may still be active , I just dont know
SO50SA

I have checked the AMSAT OSCAR web site and I the only ones I see on this list is the :
SO50AT
Or
SO50SA ----I see SO50 listed , it may be the same as these two.

I dont seem to see any information on (AO51SA)--or--(AO27SA) on the AMSAT web pages.
Any thoughts on if these birds are even still active or not ????
Or maybe renamed and are called something else now ????

If you have an iPad, check out ProSatHD. It is a complete interactive 3D satellite tracking system. On line updates. Shows paths and satellite AOS information for your location. You can choose which sats you want to track. Free. Great app.

AO-51 (which was called Echo or AMSAT-Echo before its 2004 launch) went silent in late 2011, and AO-27 in the year or so after AO-51 went silent. The only FM satellite remaining from the early 2010s in operation is SO-50, but we now have 3 others that have been launched since 2015 (AO-85, AO-91, AO-92). AMSAT has one more due to be launched later in 2018, named Fox-1Cliff (it will get an OSCAR number once in orbit and operating).

AMSAT has a page listing the satellites that support two-way communications - FM, SSB/CW, and digital:

https://www.amsat.org/two-way-satellites/

along with a page full of useful information on working these satellites:

https://www.amsat.org/station-and-operating-hints/

Good luck!

TNX Patrick for the information.
I believe I will delete (AO-51 & AO-27) from my rigs.
And go ahead and re -check the others and make sure they are all entered right.
TNX again.
