ARC536PRO Unit ID Capacity

How many UIDs can I load into both the software, and the scanner (BCD436HP or BCD536HP)? I can't find a max number listed either in the scanner, nor in the software documentation.

There shouldn't be a max number on the home patrol models. It let's you load as much as the SD card can handle. The sky is the limit my friend [emoji3] . At least that's how I understand it. I am yet to hit a maximum number of anything on a home patrol scanner except for recordings. Which can be handled with a bigger SD card.

Until your favorites list gets to be over 1 megabyte, you can add as many UID'S as you want. That's the only limit.

I have 3 systems with over 10,000 radio id's in one favorites list and have not maxed yet. When you get to a megab5you will get a message in Sentinel. I had to pull these 3 from a bigger list because it maxed.

OK, thanks. I'm going to try to stuff the approximately 60,000 ham radio CC7 IDs into my ham DMR system and see what happens. I'm using ARC536PRO, so we'll see if there's a limit in the software.

I copy and paste from excel to Sentinel. Build the original list in Unitrunker, from there to Excel, format for Sentinel, then copy and paste into Sentinel.

The UID page is on its own tab under each system. Copy the whole list, then + (add) first line record in Sentinel, place cursor on that line, then paste. It will add as many records as on your list.

Trick is to format first.

Thanks Mark, I'll give that a try. I trimmed a bunch out of the list I had so I could fit 32767 into ARC536PRO, but I left out some I'll need.
