Help please.
I was wondering if the win97 programming software will work on a Chromebook as it is not a Windows based operating system. It operates on chrome only.
Thanks for any help or advise.

A review of the Win97 system requirements shows only various Windows OS are supported. Chrome uses the Linux kernel with their own GUI.

Now, you may be able to install and run WINE but there are many hoops to jump through and that is "if" your Chromebook will load/run WINE. That seems like a lot of overhead for a computer meant for low processing tasks. I would not consider it, especially when a tablet Windows PC can be had for under $100 on Amazon.
