ARC500: ARC500 programming help needed

Looking for assistance. I'm using the ARC500 software to program the Clinton County (NY) Public Safety 800 system into my Whistler WS-1065 scanner. The system is a Motorola Type II Smartnet system. I selected the site(s) & talkgroups I wanted to monitor, but I'm not picking up anything on the 800 system.
Any suggestions?

ok, possible you have not selected anything for a scan list. in arc 500, read the scanner, then after its read, lower left corner, scan list. If nothing selected, that a good possibility. Next depending on your antenna, Clinton Cty, to Plattsburg is 23 miles. I have attached a file , possible that you will see a difference, File is zipped per RR requirements

Manually tune to the site frequencies in conv. mode and verify that you are actually receiving the control channels. Another tip is to program a * as wildcard talkgroup so you hear all activity and not just the programmed talkgroups.
