I am wanting to run a 50 foot length of cable from a dual band antenna to my Yaesu 8900. What is a good cable to use for this run. I am looking at RG8, but it seems there is alot to choose from. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Generally speaking, the bigger and higher quality, the better. It seems many here like LMR400 but whatever fits into your spending allowance for your project.

Belden 9913 or LMR400 seem to be the 2 best in the RG8 family. LMR I think has a tad less loss at higher freqs. If you're talking 2m/70cm, you probably wouldn't notice much difference between the 2.

Thanks for all the help. This site really gave me a good understanding of the difference. I will go with the Belden 9913. It seems to have acceptable loss with not a lot of cost. I will be using it on the 2m/70cm bands, because we don't use the 6m band that often where I live. Again, thanks to everyone for the help.
