I just got a ICOM 208H. The RX range on this radio is 118–173.995, 230–549.995, 810–999.990*
I need a dual band antenna that will provide good coverage for receiving frequencies around 150-170 and 450-470
Any recomendations? How will a scanner antenna do at receiving these frequencies on this radio? If I need a different antenna can I still use the magnetic base from the scanner antenna??
My main concerns is that the antenna covers the frequencies above, is magnetic and low profile/discreet
