Has anyone used a MFJ-914 AutoTuner Extender? Do they work?
I have a Yaesu FT-450AT that I was going to put a G5RV on but they say the Auto tuner will not tune a G5RV. I was told you can use a AutoTuner Extender and then it will tune the G5RV. I just bought this radio and would like to get it on the air I have nothing setup for HF so i was just going to string up a G5RV. I had one of these before and worked great on the bands. Just getting back on HF after 5 years.
