You say you live in colonie and wish to listen to Troy. I just did a fast search and it listed over 20 Troy's within the states. Another search revealed nothing for colonie. If you want an answer to your question you must include more information!

As for an antenna, most anything will work. What bands? You may want to browse the threads herein and try to figure out what others have put up and make your own decision. I bet you are in New York. Once again, give as much information as possible.
