I have a discone up around 30 feet above the roof

believe it or not those cookie sheet mounted mag mounts do just as good a job as the discone.

I am looking at the NY skyline out to my east

I am disabled now and i haven't done anything with Ham Radio for several years now. My Ticket is still active.

In my town there are cheap affordable condos up 500 feet above seal level. Sometimes I go up there and hang out at the clubhouse with the guys I know who live there. You can pull in so much it's almost boring. 90% of it is crap from the city... all in Spanish.
