I'm interested in the Austin Spectra Mobile Antenna, supose to be tri band 150-174, 430-512, 806-896 MHz.

The P25 in my area is UHF Simulcast and 700 Simulcast, will this antenna work for me?

Thanks

For recieve only, that will be fine.

Of course, if you dont want to spend stupid amounts of money, you could get either the maxrad/pctel MXRBMAXSCAN1000 or the Pulse/larsen NMO150/450/800

The maxrad performs better on transmit on VHF.
But for a scanner listening to 460 and 700, thats not at all an issue.

Antennas don't care about modulation, just frequency. If an antenna is resonant at 700MHz, then it will work for 700MHz analog FM as well as any flavor of 700MHz digital, trunked or otherwise.

You definitely want separate antennas for CB and scanner. You want to have as much space between them as roof space permits so they don't interfere with each other.

Download and install Sentinel, and use the Add Channels On Range menu to create a favorite list containing everything near you. Browse through that list to see what frequencies are active in your area. That will tell you what type of antenna you should look for.
