Largest Coax for Diamond D130

Anyone have a Diamond D130? What type of coax are you feeding it with?

I have TONS of LDF5 laying around; I suspect that with an N connector attached, it will be too large for the pipe the D130 has around the connector.

FWIW, I have an LNA I may end up using, which in that case I will need a jumper anyway so... moot point!

Depends on how far of a run your going to make and what frequency your using. If i'm no
that is some pretty big cable your using.

The runs are only like 25-30' - so I know it is WAY overkill. I just didn't want to have to buy coax / connectors if I could use what I already have laying around as surplus.

50 - 900 mHz routinely, it is going to be connected to an SDR.

If you want to run large coax or heliax, I would suggest making a short stub from LMR400 or equivalent to get the connector out the bottom of the tube and then attach the larger coax. The D130 with an N connector should work fine.

If my memory is correct those came with a pigtail, or at least my many yearold one did when I bought it.
