The XG-100P is a reconfigured PRC-152 and was EOL'd in 2016. It's got nothing to due with the BKR9000.

The radio requires a hyperterminal command to tell it that it is a P7200 System model beforehand. That info isn't publicly known.

You would just select "P7200 System" in the radio type drop down in RPM. That would be of course after you managed to get the radio itself to switch to a system model configuration,which isn't likely to happen.

That's because that corporate entity owns the radio equipment that the county will be using for it's new radio communications system. They have tons of pull in the county.They helped put it on the map.

Yep, unless you get your hands on a P7200 with a H/W version of K4 or later,their is no other way to get Phase 2 receive on these without purchasing the feature. Trying to find one of those is probably not worth the time.

This is the reply directly from Harris. The P7200 portable is discontinued and the firmware is no longer supported. We will not be able to provide or support P25 Phase II TDMA for P7200 portables.

The P7200 is a different story. They don't offer the Phase 2 upgrade because they no longer support the firmware. Phase 2 is no longer listed as a feature you can purchase for the P7200 on the Harris price sheet.
