Are all the digital unidentified locked out even the older models? Wondering if I try to do a used older model digital uniden will that be better than a new that automatic locks them out?

Ok thx I used to have a uniden that worked well with an encrypted channel however I’m getting older and I can’t remember what model this channel is a uhf encrypted most likely a P25 so how do you program it that way I’m lost? Also which model would you go with? Thanks

I have a whistler but looking for a used Uniden that I can couple with my pro scan to log the transmissions our police went 100 percent encrypted unfortunately

Does proscan log encrypted transmissions? I know it can’t decrypt them I just want to know will the Uniden newer scanners log the time channel and radio id etc on a vhf frequency on to proscan? I’d like to see any activity on certain frequencies since they now are encrypted. I know my whistler...

Sorry I mean I leave my scanner on 24/7 I need to find a way to skip those when I return home.

I have the TRX 2 does anyone know if there is a way to lockout or skip a certain frequency when I am in search limit mode? I like searching for new frequencies but when i am not home it just keeps stopping and recording the same local channels and its annoying thank you

Is there a way to pull up a frequency and look at the FCC records online to see if the entity is using digital, NEXDEN, P25 or only analog?

Just wanted to search 2 bands while in scan and search mode how do I get that resolved? This scanner is search all the bands even tho I turned them off in strictly search mode Thx

SDS100 when I search avoid it is 245 results returned

I did and I have only two bands in search mode checked but when I go to scan and search mode it's searching all bands... 😔

how do I turn off different custom factory bands while I'm in scan mode with search? I'm scanning my favs and I only want to search two different frequency bands I don't want my scanner searching all pre programmed Custom 1to 9 only want 2 bands searched need to turn the others off

@Ubbe thx thats why i like my sds100 and other Unidens for this reason because its live. I have set global already to record but maybe its my PC some days Ill have everything hokked up and i think its recording the hits and when i look nothing is there

When I connect to this program I cant verify if its actually logging and or recording or not. Seems confusing sorry

Sometimes my trx2 decides it wants to log my search recording hits sometimes it doesnt by i guess not connecting to the PC. How does one verify that its actually recording? I might have it on and I think its connected and logging for 2 days and find there are no audio files??? Somedays it...
