    MicroP25RXMon

I do not think it is a Processing.org app issue based on your observation in the Win7 device manager. As you mentioned, Win 7 does not appear to be assigning the serial com port correctly to the MicroP25RX. @btt may have some ideas on how the Win 7 serial com port assignment differs from Win 10?

    MicroP25RX

I have been running the latest MicroP25RX FW 2023-01-23-02 and the MicroP25RXMon app on Windows 10 with no issues here.

    Load pr25x config into microp25rx?

Talk Groups exported from the P25RX and P25RX-II as csv files can be imported in to the MicroP25RX. That is how I configured the first field test unit back in October. Nothing really has changed in that process. @btt notes the TG import from the SD Card in the user manual page 15. The importing...

    Load pr25x config into microp25rx?

The SD Card goes in the RX SD CARD slot. The Wio Terminal SD CARD slot is not used. I have tested up to 128 Gig SD cards in the RX card slot with no issues. The RX card slot is near the RF connector. Edit: only small files (< 40 meg ) are saved on the SD card. No firmware is saved on the SD card.

    MicroP25RXMon

Great to hear you have it running on Windows 10. I am not sure the Processing program used to create the exe supports 64-bit Windows 7. I only have Windows 10.

    MicroP25RXMon

Okay. With a data cable and a com port seen, you should also be able to see an audio device show up in your Windows sound settings. Even without the Mon application running, I am able to hear/control the MicroP25RX audio on the Windows speakers. Are your machines seeing the sound setting device...

    MicroP25RXMon

I just tried the exe version 0705 with no issue. My guess is that your Windows machines are not seeing the MicroP25RX attached to a com port. This may be due to a power only usb cable connected to the MicroP25RX ? Do you see a serial com port created in device manager when you plug in the usb...

    MicroP25RX

The SD CARD should not be in the Wio Terminal SD CARD slot. The Wio Terminal should not cause an error with the SD CARD in the RX card slot. When I have seen this error in the past, reseating the SD CARD in the RX card slot OR reformatting the SD CARD fixed my issue.

    P25RX-II P25RX-II Firmware Updates / Testing

During the testing of the P25 two tone decode on the MicroP25RX, I had my P25 system's Paging TG set at a high priority level and the TG Priority Int feature works well. It should also work well on the RX-II on a system's P25 TGs. As for Priority Int across other frequencies/systems/modes...

    MicroP25RX without WIO

Yes. Once configured with the Wio Terminal, the MicroP25RX will run without the Wio Terminal turned on or attached. The MicroP25RXMon application is being developed to be similar to BTConfig. The software development of config features in the MicroP25RXMon application is on going at this time.

    Load pr25x config into microp25rx?

The Quick Start Guide for adding a known "active" P25 control channel allows the MicroP25RX to learn the WACN and SYSID from a known live system. If the WACN-SYSID is not displayed during the learning period of time, you can try the learning process again (button A) on the frequency. The...

    MicroP25RX

@FreqNout here is a quick test of your serial solution using the Wio Terminal TTL pins 8 and 10. The Wio is connected to Windows 10 (com4) via a TTL to USB adapter. I am sending the MicroP25RX "TGHistory" lines in real time to a Windows terminal program (Termite) in this simple test. These needs...

    MicroP25RX WIO relocation

As a quick test running FW 121707, I connected the Wio to the MicroP25RX adapter board pins using 8 inch breadboard jumpers. It works fine. This is not the slowed down test FW.

    MicroP25RX Outside ?

The Wifi module in the Wio Terminal requires a Seeed Studio firmware update before it can be used in any Arduino program (UF2 file) developed. It is not too hard to do. Seeed Studio has the FW and process Here Once the Wifi firmware is updated, then an Arduino program would need to be created...
