    b7spectra on sabatical

The upper levels of Radio Reference has taken a dim view on my post in the humor section of this web site (apparently Arabs, Democrats and others are off limits), and thus I have had my status revoked as a database administrator, which means the process of bringing the Georgia database up to a...

    Cherokee County GA 800Mhz???

They have been licensed on those for years. I still keep them in my scanner since I live just down the road from Cherokee and there has never been a peep on them as far as I can tell. Probably someone wanted to jump on the bandwagon and then fell off.

Note in the Habersham County database states the entire County has moved to a Moto TRBO system. Anyone have any frequencies on this? Nothing in the FCC Database showing a TRBO system.

    County Updates

If I know or it's already listed as ENCRYPTION, I will include that. There are some systems that people have submitted as Encrypted because it's either DMR or NXDN. Those would have to really be verified because as far as a scanner is concerned, it can't decode it.

The North Fulton County's new system

As an addendum, Johns Creek and R/MA will have the NFRRSA in their radio's for interoperability. Johns Creek is dispatched by ChattComm, so they will have to be a user on the system as well unless JC is going to open their own dispatch center - which is highly unlikely. Also, JC DOES have 4...

    County Updates

The unlicensed frequencies, for the time, will remain, but there will be a tag of UNLICENSED or EXPIRED added to the listing. In a way, the RR Georgia database will resemble the FCC database, except we will show the actual usage, tones, channel numbers etc. FCC doesn't give you that. It will...

As pfask said, only two choices, for now. I'm just hoping that FreeScan will come out with a new software for the 436!

Will do. With all the SAPS we have here, I'm surprised more of them haven't chimed in to say "that's illegal"! :D
