On the minitor 3 & 4 you only have basic scan, where it scans both channels if it picks up traffic on ch 1 it opens and you hear everything, it latches on ch 1 until it drops the carrier squelch and then resumes scanning, so if you get knocked out on ch 2 while it is latched to ch1 you will miss...

Just put the narrow band freq. in and uncheck the wide band box under function switches. It is done this way so that if Channel 1 is wide and Channel 2 is narrow you can check or uncheck wide band for each switch position.

Just a quick question when suburban fire switches to the 800 mhz system will they be dispatched on the new system or on 152.0075?

yes you can its called push to listen and you have to use it in vibrate mode what it will do is vibrate, and record the message but will not open, you can then get away outside or whereever you can listen and hit your repeat on the pager

The easiest way to get pager tones is to get a recording of the tones your interested in and analyze them with a free program call audacity, if you can't figure out how to use audacity let me know
