Ok. WWV and CHU quiet right now (1453 hours EST in Northeast Florida. Looks like my 7100 is mostly deaf on HF. At least V/U hf works great. Thank you for your time Ed

I have a Icom IC7100. I am using a 75 foot wire for receive in Southwest Jacksonville Florida. My question is on HF all of the HF bands are quiet from around 12PM to around 6PM. My question is are the HF bands quiet or is my radio deaf? It works great on VHF and UHF. 73 Ed KE4BMR

Hello Got another question please. I have the RT Systems WCS-2730-USB software for my IC 2730. RT Systems said that their cable with a mono male adaptor will allow me to program the 7100. Is there a free software that will work with the cable? 73 Ed

Great. got that working. Now about output power adjust, In FM mode it seems that I can only adjust the output power to a max draw of around 7 amps. I cannot check it on HF as I only have a 2m 70cm antenna right now. 73 Ed KE4BMR
