    Ohio MARCS-IP Gallipolis Site

I believe the Apple Grove site may be in the process of that change as well. I wasn't able to get anything on that site either. But Lecta and Addison worked fine up to the time of this post. Will continue to monitor in the coming weeks and any changes I can find I will submit. Thanks again for...

Actually, I just submitted it. Did a little playing around and was able to determine the three main frequencies for that tower site. Submission should be in your inbox.

    Ohio MARCS-IP Gallipolis Site

I've been playing around a little bit today and I'm still grabbing the Huntington site just fine from the house (I live in Gallipolis but have an externally mounted antenna on the roof). I may play around some or try to do a spectrum sweep to see if I can nab anything just in case they have...

    Mobile antenna for base use

Definitely recommend that Larsen Tri-band. I have one on my truck and its solid! Performs great, handles tree branches, etc. Far as the base mount with the ground plane, the Laird isnt bad but I'd personally go with the one that has the UHF connector (PL-259 or SO-239) I feel they hold up better...

Chrome OS or Windows OS and the proper SDR software

Unitrunker might just be windows only. I was merely thinking chromebook because of the size and easy portability of it but if a windows laptop would work better, then thats what I'll go with. Just trying to weigh my options so i dont end up spending money on something that isn't going to work. I...

Chrome OS or Windows OS and the proper SDR software

Hi! Long time lurker, first time poster. Im looking to get an RTL-SDR Dongle this weekend and was wondering about a couple of things and if anyone has some opinions, or helpful tips and tricks. First, im going to be using either Unitrunker or SDRTrunk to scan my local p25 7/800mhz system here in...

    Kanawha Valley conventional use

Cabell County is set up to broadcast on both SIRN and conventional (Simulcast if you will) So you should be able to hear plenty with the exception of Huntington PD, they are only using digital. Putnam is full digital minus the fire departments which still run VHF
